The Spring Into Praise™ (SIP) Scholarship Program, funded by donations, was established in 2006 to assist students with
an acumen for the arts in the pursuit of their education.
Who is Eligible?
SIPTM will award $1,000 scholarships to students
who exhibit both academic and fine arts excellence.
Student must complete the below application as well as provide
two recommendations from one of the following: Choir Director, Professor,
Church Elder, Sr. Pastor, Youth Pastor, College Pastor/Chaplain or AYS Leader
COLLEGE STUDENTS WITH DEMONSTRABLE MUSIC
AND/OR ARTS ABILITY ARE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE
Student’s input is required:
In 600- 750 words, attach an essay that will describe how Music can
“Revive, Restore and Renew” a person’s relationship with Christ and their fellow-man”.
Essay MUST include 3 references that cite evidence to support position.
Recommendation is required:
For consideration, students must be recommended as described below:
In a paragraph, please document the student’s educational achievements, experiences and
abilities that make him/her a candidate to be considered for a SIP™ 2018 scholarship.
A completed application consists of:
Two Letters of Recommendation (250 words or less)
Student's Essay (600-750 words)
In order to be eligible to be considered for the SIP™ 2018 scholarship,
all requested documents (Completed Application) MUST be received
